Learn Where Your Yahoo PPC Clicks Come From

Many SEM/PPC professionals don't realize that the clicks they buy from Yahoo Search Marketing don't actually come from Yahoo.

In Google Adwords you can select to run campaigns on Google Search, Google Partner Sites and the Google Content Network.

In Yahoo - even if you opt out of their content network, the majority or clicks you receive are most likely coming from 3rd party sites (many parked domain services etc).

If you know which domains are sending you clicks you can remove them manually by excluding the subdomain (up to a certain limit), but first you need to know which domains are sending traffic.

Using a custom tracking script or checking your server logs can provide this information if you know what you are doing.

The traffic in Yahoo search just isn't there! And the 3rd party referring sites provide (in my opinion) a lower quality click.
